Fashion the Employment Forum in E-Mobility

Timeline: 2024
Budget: EUR 5.000

Why?

Lack of urgency and tangible solutions

  • 23 million young people in Africa are currently unemployed, with projections for 2030 indicating an increase to 27 million. Additionally, 40% of those employed are experiencing working poverty, earning between US$ 2.15 and US$ 3.65 per day.
  • There is high unemployment rate among the youth, particularly young women, who have been historically marginalized from the workforce.

Objective

Interventions without stakeholder preparation is not effective

  • A collaboration aiming at using available resources to support the further development of the young people in Africa. We want to create a platform where the private sector has a timetable and a place to participate in activities that fall out of their daily business activities. These platforms are crucial to ensure sustainable improvements of these developments.
